FALL/WINTER 2007/2008
Beginning students will be introduced to the fascinating world of ceramics. The course starts with various handbuilding techniques using coil, pinch and slab methods incorporating various textural elements to enhance the piece. A glazing lecture will follow explaining the many techniques available to the students. When the first pieces are completed, a wheel throwing demonstration will be given for those who wish to explore that aspect of ceramics.
